Interior design tips for men
Here are my best tips for upgrading any apartment with minimal effort when you simply don't want to do anything.
rssThe exciting stuff on the internet can only be found in niches these days. One such niche is the Reddit Sub r/maleLivingSpace. Men who are newly divorced, men who come from poverty, or some who are moving into their first apartment ask for tips on how to beautify their living space. It's partly funny, partly sad, and partly heartwarming.

Here are my best tips for upgrading any apartment with minimal effort
1. Tidying up
Just do nothing and tidy up makes such a big difference, that you can forget about everything else if you don't have the time or money.
2. Light & Light & Light
Lighting is one of the most important aspects of interior design. With inadequate lighting you can ruin any room and make a terrible room fantastic.
The eye likes diffuse light. The easiest way to achieve this is with indirect light in warm colors. LED lamps, on the other hand, have developed greatly.
Simplest option: socket with mood bulb. No tools required, inexpensive, and always looks good.

3. Furniture
Actually, anything works as long as it doesn't look like it was stolen from a construction site.
No sofas that have been sitting in the rain on the street for two weeks.
The simplest option: forget the Eams Chair, go to the thrift store, and buy a piece of furniture that isn't worn out.

4. Art on the walls
Empty walls ruin any good interior design and create a depressing atmosphere. It is better to live surrounded by beautiful things that delight the eye and the soul.
Many People in the subs complain that it is difficult to find affordable art.. There are tons of people out there who do great work and are also affordable. Unfortunately, we designers aren't the best salespeople or
- Order something from a local artist
- Ask your friends if anyone likes to paint, sculpt, or do something else creative. Nothing is as great as a design by someone you know personally

- Visit a craft fair or art market
- Ask your nephew if he would paint something for you.
The simplest option. Order from me. something nice for your walls
5. The thing about black and white
Many men like their interiors to be as black and white as possible. There is always a great danger of overdoing it and making the apartment look like a funeral home. Goths like that. For everyone else, I recommend color.
The simplest option is to break up the black-and-white world with a counterpoint. For example, with an ultra-colorful picture. This will make it stand out even more, and you can freely combine black-and-white tones without making the apartment look too cold.

Easy being
Take my motif «Das leichte Sein» (The Lightness of Being), for example. It's perfect when combined with an apartment that is perhaps decorated in shades of gray.

LED Strips
Unless you live in a laser tag arena. Otherwise, LED strips are never a good option.
Military Memorabilia
If you want to have visitors and be a pleasant host, then give the steel helmet and army badges to the thrift store.
Fahnen & Flaggen
Flags hung on a wall always give the impression that you live in a student dormitory. If there's really no other option, then at least iron your flag.
