The sad and stupid reality of working with AI on a day to day basis

Nobody is talking about how depressing it is to work with AI on a regular basis.

Nobody is talking about how depressing it is to work with AI. I've been working on a coding project for a few weeks when I use LLM's extensively, and now I can feel how truly miserable experience this is.

Remember that Clip of Ian McKellen as Gandalf where he breaks down because of all the dead green screens:

It is great

Oh hey wow this thing solves coding problems very nicely.

It is annoying

But the longer you work with it, the hallucinations become stronger. Imagine a colleague who constantly lies to your face day in day out. The frustration from such a Colleague grows and grows.

It is Sad

If you are stuck in a hallucination loop and need human help, you are out of luck. StackOverflow is pretty much dead. It's like a library who was rebuilt as a graveyard.

It feels like there is no one real on the internet anymore, the only talking person is a robot.

It is stupid

So I finished this project and I've learned nothing. I used to learn a lot with tinkering on a new project, that's how I learned CSS TWIG and HTML and Craft CMS in general. Now I've implemented a nuxt.js project, and I'm not even sure if it really happened.

I'm in an Echo chamber of Stupidity now. Pride of Craftmanship goes out the window.

No

If you ask a Kid what is their dream Job, is there anybody answering with "Sitting on a computer and talking to a statistical math model"?

Better yet creating a new poster

AI Image Generation is so laughably bad I won't bother.

The poster shows a snow-covered ridge in the very early morning. The sun is close to the ridge. Four ski tourers are on their way to the summit. The poster has an extremely reduced and minimalist design with very few areas and gradients. The poster is simply placed on the wall in an F4 frame.
