A poster for all those who need courage and comfort

I made the illustration in spring '22 in gratitude that the orders from my online store ensured my survival during the pandemic, as I had lost my job as a part-time worker and my freelance commissions.

At the time, it felt like the dice of fate were being rolled for everyone around the world. I was lucky... Many others less so. In recent history, there has hardly been a global phenomenon that has had the same impact on everyone as the pandemic, whether in La Paz, Interlaken or Manila.

For me, humility and gratitude set in and as a reaction I drew this rooster, who is holding out.
